Anxious about how your family might behave on a family shoot? I know many of you might have anxiety about how kids might behave but I know there are many of you who would probably be more concerned about their husband's behaviour haha! Boob grabs. Dirty references. Dad jokes. I’ve seen it all and I'm here to tell you that a family photoshoot with your husband can be quite fun Dad jokes and all! Some Men eye roll with dread when asked to come along for some family photos, in fear of being seen in super cheesy, awkward poses spread across social media. If only they knew that family portraits can be done so tastefully while also adding some of their cheeky humour and personality too.

The trick is to just let everyone be themselves and to not add any pressure to be picture perfect. To just go with it.
I love it when a Dad is feeling comfortable and starts cracking the jokes, I welcome the comic relief and gives me satisfaction that he feels safe to be himself with me. I also particularly love to encourage men to be vulnerable too. Our long standing belief that men are emotionally barren heroes that man up in times of crisis are so outdated. Children need to see that their dads were not only fun and playful but they were loving and affectionate and even scared and insecure about how they look too.
Bottom line. Men have loved having a shoot done with me!
