Dante is 5 weeks old. Time is passing incredibly quick. I can see he is slowly losing his divine squishy newborn goodness and developing into a little infant. Abby, who constantly is wanting to prove she can look after him. That she will be all that he needs. To love and protect him. How my heart stands still as she runs to his bassinet and with her effort lifts him as she cannot bare to hear him cry. The triumphant look she gives me when she rocks him or he takes his pacifier and lulls him back to sleep. How lucky he is to have a big sister like you my sweet babe. I treasure these moments. To know it will pass so fleetingly.
