Celebrate life's wonders

Celebrate life's wonders

Life In All Its Glory.

What do you do to infuse more family CONNECTION into your sweet little family's portraits?

The best thing for you? A Family Documentary Photo Session!

Get out and explore a new place, a new activity, or sink into the comfort of an old fave - adventuring together is when we connect most. We shake off our to-do list and are fully present.Imagine how easier it will be to just  do your normal thing and enjoy spending time with your kids together. Forget about the awkward poses and forced smiles. Lets capture your life the way it truly is.

I often hear how dreamy this sounds immediately followed by:

“My toddler won't listen.”

“My house is messy”

During a documentary family photography session, Life's mess is apart of the story, please do not be embarrassed by it! I have kids and my house is bomb 95% of the time. I still manage to capture awesome photos of my family. Glorious mess and all. Kids get to be their awesome selves too, Spending quality time with you doing what they love to do. NO chasing after the kids telling them  not to mess their hair or wrinkle their outfits.

So you know you want to have a photo session full of natural, real moments but you get hung up in the planning process (who has time?!)?

You need someone to take the load off of figuring out what to do for you. That person, is me :) I’ve put together an easy peasy process for you to get those ideas out of your brain and onto the calendar!

What does this mean? It means that I am bound by a code of ethics and am required to maintain a level of industry training and knowledge.

Hello fellow earth mama. I specialise in documenting families, as they are, at home - out and about even  on holiday. Capturing true moments and memories. This approach may be a little different to the usual family photographer you're used to. However my appreciation for building strong healthy relationships with my children and capturing the beauty of childhood is what makes my portraits so unique. .

2016 was a huge year for me, I was labelled one of the most inspiring documentary photographers of the year by Fearless and Framed.

I was a featured artist in both Aglow Magazine and Mozi Magazine along with blog features in photography communities Bloom and Click In Moms.

in 2017 I also had the honour of being asked to teach other photographers around the world for The Narrative Society.

I encourage  you to embrace and love this time in your life and take me on a journey with you, whatever your story may be. I know a day planned full of activities that build on your family connection we will create the most heartfelt memories. Thats what I want to do for you. It is my greatest joy to give families the best photos and memories. It will change the way you see yourself and your family.

Documentary Photography is such a fun way to photograph families. We can do absolutely anything.  The decision is entirely up to you. Whether it be organising an incredibly fun day out with the kids. Or for those home bodies, snuggling in and hanging out at home. Whatever we do, it is my job to capture real authentic moments of your family in the best way that I can. You are going to love your beautiful portraits that speak truth about your family.

Request my client guide and lets organise a consultation, by phone or come meet with me to start design the perfect session for you.

FAQS

FAQS

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I always encourage Families to wear what they feel comfortable in, something they would normally wear around the home or to a nice lunch. Remember we are trying to capture real and authentic so wearing a dinner dress at home doesn't exactly work.

WHERE ARE YOUR SESSIONS HELD?

Each and every session is completely unique to their own. Part of my consultation and planning includes a questionnaire that will give me a good idea on how we should design the session. The beautiful thing about documentary sessions are they are unique to you. We can organise the most incredible day doing what you and your family love.

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

I am happy to go anywhere! Even interstate. If you want me to travel to you just give me a call and we can work something out. I am based in Sydney, the Hills District anywhere outside of a 50km radius requires a travel fee.
